Innovation and Operation Research
Aprovecho Research Center designs and implements improved biomass cooking and heating technologies in more than 60 countries worldwide. Aprovecho develops, tests, and markets new clean cookstove design.
D-Lab is a program at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) that fosters the development of appropriate technologies and sustainable solutions for international development. D-Lab develops new technology assessment/evaluation processes and supports innovation incubators in select countries.
IDEO.org employs a human-centered design process to help nonprofit organizations, foundations, and social enterprises innovate for those who need it most - those facing poverty everyday.
